Kent, 1962. (Reissued a number of times--I think the label shot below is from '64. The Memphis Blues Boy kicks all things kringlin' into gear. This wonderful track is a cover of a Swingtime original from 1951 by Jesse Thomas with accompaniment by Lloyd Glenn of the rhythm track "Sleigh Ride," which is not to be confused with Leroy Anderson's pop classic. [You hear me, Arthur Fiedler? I'm looking at you.]) Thomas track below as bonus bling for da holiday.
